Bonko Babes
I know, I know…I’m WAY past due for posting, but I had to share a little something with you. Back in the early day’s of 2000, I was lucky enough to be selected as part of THE prestigious Murray Bonko group. Every month for the past 8 years, we’ve gotten together religiously to enjoy a yummy dinner, OD on sugar and pop, and roll for the coveted Big Bonko Prize (many of which have graced my home). Little did I know when we first started, that over time these 7 women would become some of my greatest and most cherished friends. I could literally go on for hours sharing all the wonderful memories we’ve created through the years, both in and out of the game. Because I don’t want this post to sit in my drafts for eternity as I try to perfect it, I won’t get into details. I’ve enjoyed every moment and I look forward to the days that we’ll be rolling with oversized dice, drinking Ensure, and bragging about our grandbabies. Many of you have been on my mind this week so I just wanted to say to all my Bonko Babes, I love you and I’m grateful that you’re a part of my life.
Oh Nicole - I love you too!!! You are one of my very favorite people in the whole world. By the luck of Kelly and Natalie we have all found eachother and not one of our lives will ever be the same.
I feel so blessed to have a greasy face in the picture - oh I mean to be a part of this elite group of woman. Our bond over the past 8 years has grown so strong and unbreakable… I just feel so blessed to have you all as my friends.
I love our friendship too. You guys will never know really how thankful I am for that lucky day in my life that I was asked to be in this group too. I love all of you for COMPLETELY different reasons. It is so fun when we are all together.
I love you! We have some crazy girls night out memories prior to the bonko days too. I’m glad you’re in the bonko group. I think you’re darling and I love hanging out with you whenever we get the chance. You are a lifelong friend for sure.
I love you too! I’m so glad we’ve progressed the way we have. I never would have thought in the beginning that this would affect my life the way it has. I’m the lucky one!!!
